Overview |
CLR-SWF-1206P series PoE switches provide power and data to powered devices (PD) over Cat5/Cat6 twisted pair cables. They have six fastethernet ports, four of which has the ability to supply power. The last two ports are normal ethernet ports which can be used as uplink. CLR-SWF-1206P supports both standards IEEE 802.3af which means up to 15.4W per each port, and IEEE 802.3at up to 30W per port. |

Advanced auto-sensing algorithm gives power only to IEEE802.3af/at end devices, so no need to worry about damaging non-PoE equipment. In addition, it cuts off the power when PoE devices are disconnected. |

Easy and reliable, CLR-SWF-1206P series PoE switches automatically determine PoE requirements, speed, duplex type and cable type. They have LEDs on the front-panel that provide diagnostics of the whole system and help the operator to monitor the status of each individual port. |

CLR-SWF-1206P supports data and power transmission at the same time through Cat6 cables to long distances as 250 meters in AI Extend mode. Therefore, it saves cost in the projects that require PoE extender to achieve long distance transmission. However achieving this distance results in rate loss to 10Mbps. |

One more of the key features is the AI PoE mode. Sometimes the network equipments stop functioning as if they are dead even though they are still powered. AI power supply in CLR-SWF-1206P detects PD's situation and restarts the dead equipment by restrarting its own PoE port. |

The switch has internal power supply unit. This built-in power makes it easy and reliable to connect AC power feed directly. No need to worry about the cable mess coused by external power units |
