CLR-SWG-2906P PoE switches provide power and data to powered devices (PD) over Cat5/Cat6 twisted pair cables. They have four gigabitethernet ports which have the ability to supply power according to industry standard IEEE 802.3af which means up to 15.4W per each port, and IEEE 802.3at up to 30W . Additionally there are two SFP slots which can be used as fiber optical uplink. |

The 1st port conforms with standard IEEE802.3bt. So that port1 can supply 60W PoE. However consuming 60W power at single port means that there will be no power reserve left for other ports. |

There is a DIP SW on the front panel for choosing PoE Extend Mode & VLAN Mode |

When switched to PoE Extend Mode, the PoE and Data transmission distance reaches up to 250m for Port3 and Port4. In this case port speed decreases to 10Mbps |

When switched to VLAN Mode, than all traffic flowing on RJ45 ports are insulated from each other. |

Advanced auto-sensing algorithm gives power only to IEEE802.3af/at end devices, so no need to worry about damaging non-PoE equipment. In addition, it cuts off the power when PoE devices are disconnected. |

Easy and reliable, CLR-SWG-2906P series PoE switches automatically determine PoE requirements, speed, duplex type and cable type. They have LEDs on the front-panel that provide diagnostics of the whole system and help the operator to monitor the status of each individual port. Over current protection and short circuit protection are also supported to ensure the power supply safety. |
