The CLR-MCF-xxL series are copper to fiber optic Fast Ethernet Media Converters which convert 10/100Base-Tx to 100Base-Fx. CLR-MCF-10L is the multimode, and CLR-MCF-11L is the singlemode converter.
Copper connection is provided with RJ45 port, and the fiber optic connection is provided with a SC connector.
It can extend the distance of communication via multimode and singlemode fiber optical cables. This standalone converter is unmanaged. There are 5 LEDs indicating the working conditions of converter which gives the users the ability to fully monitor status and diagnose the failures.
It is powered through external power adapter or uses power from USB port on the hosting device such as PC or Server. Using USB port power offers great flexibility when deploying this converter. Five LEDs are provided to monitor the operation status of the converter and diagnose the failures.
The DIP Switches on the front panel are used to set the required working configurations to meet various applications.
CLR-MCF-xxL serie media converters support LFP (Link Fault Pass-through) function for easily tracing the network link failures. |
